Okay, so I am back in the hospital. My freedom was short and sweet. I was able to go out to dinner with Ryan for our anniversary, snuggle with my dog, and go out for some real pancakes. I went in for my scan today and the blood flow was fine for Yip, but the amniotic fluid was low. They like to see a pocket that measures 4 centimeters, and only saw 2.3. Also, I think that Dr. M and Dr. T feel better having me here, so they might have been looking for something to admit me. So I now have a corner suite, very nice large room with a view. I am also getting the royal treatment, complete with continuous IV fluids and fetal heart monitoring. They are really pushing the fluid, last time I was here I went through a bag in 8 hours, this time I have gone through 2.5 bags in 12 hours. The best news is that this does not mean that they want to meet Yip and Yap early. Yap and Yip ( I just realized I should rotate the order I write about them so no one gets a complex) are doing just fine where they are and the Doctors want us to get to 34 weeks. Yip and Yap said "I see your 34 weeks and raise you two!" Thirty six to thirty seven weeks is considered full term for twins, so that is our goal. I will go down for my regular scan in the morning and on Thursday we will do another growth scan. These two have got to be growing, as the head in my ribs certainly feels bigger. Be sure to tune in and do not be surprised when I tell you how big these babies are. If the strength of their kick is any indication, we are looking at some big, strong babies.
So 32 weeks and 3 days pregnant
Time on bed rest total 3 weeks and 5 days.
Numbers of puddings since I have been admitted for the second time 1
