Well lots of activity has occurred, well lots if you are on bed rest. Auntie Val came to visit us to hang out and watch the first episode of Survivor. Right in the middle of the show the nurse came and said we were moving. So I am now in my third room. This one is in the Mother and Baby side, so no scary birthing stuff in this room. It is also a little smaller, which has turned out to be a good thing as I got the best sleep yet since I have been here. So much so that they woke me up for my daily scan and I had barely enough time to brush my teeth before I went down. I am such a fixture here that I walk down by myself and walk my chart back. So there I go every morning in my house coat walking my chart to and from the ultrasound appointment. So, without further ado, today's result is more of the same. Not better, not worse. We did see the zero blood flow from the placenta to Yip, so the three of us are still here to stay, but same is good. I got to see more 3-D pictures of the babies. From the profile they look like Daddy and from straight on they look like Mom. Pretty cute.
So on to the November goal. Yip and Yap and I always talk in the early morning when they are doing one of the heart rate monitoring. They reminded me the July, 13th was the date when Daddy and I found out that they were twins, I was admitted here on September, 13th so they would like to be born on November 13th. I said that was fine with me. Then they said that they would also sleep through the night and only have poopie diapers when Dad is around.
Time in the hospital 1week 1 day.
Days pregnant: 29 weeks and 6 days.

Poor Bigbird.... So do you still have movies on demand and all that fancy stuff? Jane
Yes, they even brought me some informational stuff on twins to watch. Prett cool!
That looks like our family but where is Kermit?
Jane don't worry Kermit is there ~ we jammed Katy's Kermit slippers into the TV/DVD rack hanging from the wall, along with her Cubs baseball hat. FYI it looks like a florist came into the room & went berzerk. Also, Katy, Yip & Yap have definitely made their mark in the "baby wing" of the hospital. It's almost as if Katy works there; she walks around as if she owns the place. Ha ha. I was also sure to tell the nurses that Katy was the most important patient there. If not Auntie Vall will need to kick some serious nurse butt! - Val
Thanks Val, I'm glad Kermit is OK, it looked like Big Bird ate both Kermit and Miss Piggy.
Katy, maybe they could put you on the payroll, you could be in charge of gang relations. Jane
Hi Kathyrn,
This is wonderful you are doing your blog to include everyone to know how you are doing with Yip and Yap! This should keep you busy while you are on bedrest.
Hang in there -- I think you will have a girl and boy. I can't wait to meet the sweet peas!
Big Support from Southwest Twins Play Group!
Just don't get your own ice chips! Wish my patients were as helpful, they sometimes have poopy diapers, where is that Ryan when I need him. Sara is still raking it in for her b'day-we are going to the City Museum in St. Louis tomorrow. Uncle Jeff thinks Spfld."traffic" is busy, can't wait-he is driving with free lessons from me. Picture day was today, hope she smiled with her teeth, will send them as soon as they arrive. Didn't have to give any suppositories, day shift took care of it. Ann
Please pass the frog legs!
