Happy First 4th of July Yip and Yap

Happy Summer! YAY! We made it. All those days been cooped up (get it, chickens, cooped up) in the house and now we can get out and see the world. We have been swimming in the back yard, walking the forest preserve trails, going to kiddie country at the YMCA while mommy and cousin Lindsey workout, and a couple of nice picnics with Dad. One exciting thing has happened this month. Evangeline and Addison saw their first firework show. They got to stay up past their bedtime and see the show at our friend Mike's 4th of July party. They LOVED the fireworks. Not scared at all. They both sat together in their stroller side by side and just watched with such excitement. Addison even said her first word, YAY! (that is what she said) At a moment of silence between fireworks she shouted out "Yay." Not sure if she knew what she was saying, but as much as Mommy says yay it is possible. Hope everyone is having a wonderful summer.

Oh yeah, Go Cubs Go!!!!!!
